I was utterly shocked by the traffic noise and the whistling wind in my attic room. How miserable. The so-called 'receptionist' was dressed like they just rolled out of bed, how unprofessional! I expected a complimentary gesture for these inconveniences but got nothing. Almost gave a good review but just couldn’t, unfortunately.

Staying here while attending a family event was a great decision. The room we had was a well-furnished Superior double with a powerful shower, which was just what we needed for a refreshing start to the day. I particularly appreciated the delicious breakfast cooked to order, with a wide variety to choose from, and the personal touch the owner added by helping with birthday candles was very thoughtful.

It was just a suitable option for a flash stay in Barnstaple with very good value for money. The well-stocked tea tray in the room had lovely local products, which made my downtime enjoyable. Remember to ask about parking arrangements before arriving.

Parking is a hassle!!! Finding alternative spaces can be quite the ordeal during peak times!!! The awkward layout of some rooms can be uncomfortable for taller guests!!! Maintenance of noisy doors would be greatly appreciated!!!

The location was convenient, only a 10-minute walk to the town centre and with easy access to parking. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the room was exceptionally clean with quality amenities.
Limited common areas could hinder socializing with fellow guests.

We enjoyed our stay with quick check-in and even got to relax before the usual time in our spacious room with a lovely garden view. The aromatherapy massage and reflexology options were just what we needed to unwind after a long day. Just a heads up that parking can be a bit tricky at peak times, but we managed fine overall. 😊

Cozy and friendly vibes!
Had a good stay for 4 nights! The owner was super chill and even brought breakfast right to my room, which was a nice touch. The staff felt like family, and I could order in with the nice little tray they provided. Just wish the shower had a bit more space, it was a tight fit!
